What is Keith's Two Pence?
If you've ever heard someone say, "Here's my two cents worth," you'll already understand the idea.
Growing up in England, we used to say, "Here's my two pence worth." It simply means offering an honest opinion based on experience, with the hope that someone finds it useful.
After more than 30 years helping businesses tell their story and grow, I've learned one important lesson: marketing doesn't have to be complicated. Too often it's filled with jargon, buzzwords and promises that make it seem far more difficult than it really is.
Every Two Pence Tuesday, I share a practical marketing idea in plain English. Some articles may challenge the way you think about marketing. Others may give you a simple idea you can put into practice straight away. My goal is always the same—to help local businesses and community organizations become easier to find, better understood and more successful.
Whether you're looking for a fresh perspective or simply curious about a marketing topic, I hope you'll find something here that's helpful.
And if reading one of these articles leaves you with a question, or you'd simply like to chat about your business, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
That's my two pence worth.
